Write a Magazine Article on Body Image 

Pretend that you are a reporter for Kids Now! Health Magazine.  Write an article to help kids understand the importance & benefits of a good body image.

• Use your KWL about body image, what you learned from the presentation and your *research in your article.  *Remember to cite sources that you use!
• Some things to think about:
  • The beginning needs to have a hook.
    • Is there something that most people wouldn't know about body image?
    • Is there an incident (real or made-up) that you could use to draw the reader into your article?
  • The middle gives all of your supporting evidence.
    • supplements
    • dieting
    • media presents "the ideal body image" - that doesn't exist
  • The end gives the reader an idea to remember / a call to action
